Why the method matters more than the number
In this category, the study design tells you more than the headline percentage does. Here is what each term rules out.
Randomized
Participants were assigned to the product group or the placebo group by chance — not by who looked most likely to respond well. That closes the easiest way to flatter a result.
Placebo-controlled

Is the study genuinely independent?
Yes. It was designed, run and analyzed by Citruslabs, a third-party research organization, and the results are published on their site rather than only on ours. Read the Citruslabs page.
Can women take it?
The formula is made for adult men and women. We want to be precise about the evidence, though: the Citruslabs study enrolled 60 men aged 35 to 75, so every percentage on this page describes that group. We would rather tell you exactly who was studied than let a number stand in for people it never measured.
How soon might I notice anything?
Participants were surveyed weekly, and the reported outcomes above were recorded at week four. Give it a consistent month before you judge it. Responses vary from person to person.
Does it contain stimulants?
No. There is no caffeine and no stimulant in the formula, which is why it is taken on a daily schedule rather than before a specific occasion.
